Commerce.Asia has consolidated itself as an Omni channel commerce enabler that offers mentorship, investment, and market access to businesses; in particular, SME’s. It provides these outlets with extensive training and advice to facilitate the process of becoming global Omni channel commerce merchants.

“The layman will identify with two components; Merchants and marketplaces. Enablers are the third component. Our business connects these people. I created a company that has logistics enablers and marketplace enablers. When we observe companies like Shopify, you’ll find they’ve about 300,000 enablers; that’s a huge number of merchants. These are the sort of things that Commerce.Asia plans to invest in.”

In 2003, Ganesh Bangah became the youngest Chief Executive Officer of a public listed company in Malaysia. Not to be outdone by his own abilities, he then went on to retrieve the Ernst & Young Technology Entrepreneur of the Year Malaysia title in 2012.

After spearheading his way to entrepreneurial success with MOL; an online gaming points system where individuals can purchase ‘gaming points’ from convenience stores and cash them in to play online games, Ganesh was hit by an epiphany: that he needed to place greater emphasis on the nurturing and facilitation of budding entrepreneurs to ensure positive growth within the ASEAN region. And so he did.
